2007 Coal Production

The Energy Information Administration just released 2007 coal production data (see link).  Measured by coal short tons, the top states are seen below.  Wyoming, West Virginian, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Montana comprise 73% of the US coal production.  It should also be noted that coal production decreased 1.4% year over year.  Now, we need to discover where this coal is being deployed and look for alternatives.
